Largest core I have seen anyone fit is 24x12x4 but that is overkill and you do have to slightly modify a couple things to fit it. Not sure on your hp goal but I would say 22x10x3 is fine for up to 700hp or more and it should fit no sweat. My last intercooler core I had on the car was 24x10x3.
