I got the KA24E (2.4L SOHC) with an automatic transmission. Paid $500 for the car and it ran damn near flawlessly, so I'm not complaining one little bit.
The car is VERY torque happy, though. My friend has a 1998 non-VTEC Integra LS and I've beaten him in a race without even taking the motor to full redline. Also beat my friends 2005 Ford Focus in a race (not that hard). I can't wait until I can get some real power in the car, though.

Rattle can? It's not just some APC muffler that's welded onto the stock exhaust. It's a full 2.5" catback exhaust. And the sound of it ... OMG! HKS tuned the sound when they made this exhaust to be PERFECT. If you just heard it, you would never know it was an aftermarket exhaust until about 3500 rpms. It's so quiet. And then when it does get to screaming, it's a very low droning sound.
