Really!? Until a few days ago, I was running a single Rockfor 12" (the really old ones) off of the 250a2. I had no problem hearing it, and the gain on the amp was all the way down. Perhaps you've had your music a bit loud.
What amp are you running? Those Solobarics need a ton of power to run clean.
