There are ulterior motives. The dark secret. BMW's aren't my first love. I have a 1954 Willys CJ3-B. I have had it for 24 years now. It was the first rig my wife and I bought. Wrecking it 3 years ago cost me half my right hand plus many other problems. I finally have the funds to start putting it back together. Don't get me wrong, I want the 6 to live, but I want the Willys to live also.
I am going to try to do both at somewhat the same time.
Since this forum is "other models" are you interested in a "Boy and His Willys" post??
I for one would love to hear about both projects, I love cars, even things I wouldnt personaly own, I can appreciate the work & thought & love that has gone into them.

I've just come back from a weekend visiting some friends and watching a hill climb in Newcastle, everything from the sublime to the rediculous, even met up with some DTM people, one guy (msmola2002) was running his 2002, came second in his class, was great to see.

I'll post some pictures somewhere, and a link here if people would like.

Time to go tend to my sunburn
Iain.
