You have a point. There are a lot of "purists" of which I personally lean towards, but I dont put too much stock into the close-mindedness of it since its philosophy can vary very little between "only factory parts" to just "well worn and common mods". Then everyone would be running around with BBS RS's and subtle kits and smoked headlights and side-repeaters and clean looks. Its just my preference, but I dont mind it when others do different things that arent an abomination of the German car modding philosophy all together. People get real sensitive on the topic and have a knee-jerk reaction to ANYthing that even remotely resembles a rice mod. I think things can be done that can still look tasteful and use these so-called "questionable" mods. Im just happy that they came out with something new and non-universal for the E30.
