| wash it regularly and then use like a low concentrate degreaser or bug n tar remover. then i just slightly sanded it like wetsand and then i taped off all the edges and painted them with straight black automotive spray paint. ill have to find the can to let you know what it was. it was better than when i first bought it.
and no there are no small pits
