Thurs, May 26th, Willow Springs (Big track, not Streets track)
Drivers meeting and breakfast from 7:30-ish to 8-ish (YES YOU MUST BE THERE) Track is green @ 8:15-ish.
Instructors available for morning session ($150.00 per hour, instructors will have 2 students, alternating 30 minute sessions).
Open track for anyone who does not wish to have an instructor; you can go as many times as you want or stay out there as long as you want. THIS IS OPEN TRACK TIME.................
12:00-ish (Catered Lunch most likely will be some sort of light Italian cuisine pasta, chicken, salad etc)
12:30-ish drivers meeting to recap the morning sessions and answer any questions any one might have.
12:45-ish-1:00pm wrap up drivers meeting and remainder of lunch.
Track is green from 1-5 pm same format as morning session.
We will bring up our small trailer. We will offer support to any drivers needing it. Includes safety check, tires rotation, checking wheel torques and tires pressures. Etc............
Does not include dusting off the car if you run out of talent on any part of the course and go off!
The instructors come from a Motorsports background and have PRO racing experience they have also instructed for BMW CCA., PCA, POC, etc, they are there to work with you. If you have never been on the track, LISTEN to what they are saying and DON'T try to impress them with your skills. DON'T worry they are faster than you are..... Smooth first, Speed will come naturally.
This is NOT a competition it is a FUN day at the track so we can all enjoy our cars in a safe environment at speed. We are here as friends.
THIS IS NOT A SCHOOL. The instructors are there as a courtesy to participants who may want the input of a seasoned driver.
Helmets are required so bring one, If you don't have one please let us know in advance so we can help arrange a loaner for you.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CAR AND ITS OPERATING CONDITION..... GET IT CHECKED OUT BEFORE YOU GO ON TRACK.. IF YOU NEED HELP ASK...
Convertibles MUST have roll bars and can also have a hard top with roll bar combination. Check with the track beforehand for details on convertibles or call Fabryce at GMG.
Rules are simple stay on the track.............. Have fun.. Meet some new people who share the same passion for automobiles like yourself.
If you go off the track ( all 4 wheels ) you get a warning, do it twice and you are having a talk with the event organizer, do it 3 times and you are driving home early.
We cannot have ANYONE jeopardize their safety or the safety of others.....
