It finally sounds like people are beginning to realize that metal tubing is metal tubing and turbines are turbines no matter where you get them....and that 10 grand for "research and development" is a crock of B.S.
Sink some of the money you're saving into a bigger turbo & custom tuning and you'll be set. I'm most likely going this route in a few weeks. I think though that I'm going to immediatley relist the turbo in the STG1 kit on ebay as brand new then use the money towards an intercooler upgrade. The one in the kit seems really puny and the ebay ad makes no mention of its dimensons or max power rating. |
