But of course you should turn it off! Oh, unless you are trying to not peel out at all, but that's not the case right? (sorry if that sounded sarcastic) So, yes, with the tability control on, when your car senses any loss in traction (regardless the situation) it will cut the gas and, in some cases, apply brake where it feels necessary. The new setup seems to be quite a bit less invasive than earlier models. I have taken some hasty turns since I got my new one and I noticed the dsc didn't give me as much crap as I remember my 2002 giving me. So, I don't think its quite as necessary to roll around with your dsc off all the time (I used to almost always keep it off - very testosteronely charged, you know?), but you can get away with more in the new setup. You do want to be caught off guard with the dsc turned off if you are losing control of your car because that could end in a real bummer! But, yes, to answer your question, you will need to turn it off if you want to really get up and going to your new car's full potent potential (like that??)
