I did the same thing as you did. I guess some people didnt care for my driving habits that day.
He goes I know you were doing way over 80 before you saw me. Goes back to his car and comes and hands me a 80 in a 65 ticket. I smiled and signed the ticket. After I signed it I said thank you. In a nice way he smiled and walked away. I paid the ticket $127.50. Im coming up on almost 1 year ticket free! Couldve have been worse!
My other ticket was for 70 in a 55 acouple of years ago. That only cost me $65 bucks. Both tickets were in MN.
