Couple of turbo kits were made... nothing in production today... callaway made one back in the 80's to work with the L-jet 320i engines.. it was crap.. stock turbo car was fast but crap reliability wise.. back before they had wastegates.. get yourself a standalone EFI.. a 318i intake.. some injectors... a high pressure fuel pump... a return line... some pipeing... and either a factory 2002 turbo manifold or www.bmw2002.com has a new TCD one for $450.. then you could get 225hp reliably out of one... couple people have done it now... and instead of standalone... you could go with the efi setup off a merkur xr4ti... cheaper but more work... look at 3-4k in parts alone to turbo one....
