I havn't installed my iPod yet because my car is in the shop (I crashed it, driving in the snow
) But when it gets back, since I don't use the cupholders, I was going to install a 'dock' into the cupholder. I'd use
this installed underneath the cupholder, tap into the 12v, run a 1/8" cable up to the back of my HU with a 1/8" to RCA converter.
iPod install without wires out in the open of the car, or FM transmitter quality sound. Now all I need is somthing to hold the iPod in the cupholder and I have to be able to attach the dock connector to it.
