| Alpina is recognized as a small auto manufacturer in Germany. Bascially they take BMW's from the factory and install their own engines and suspensions among other things, and sell them under the Alpina badge. You can get parts in the states but entire cars are still a long ways away since they dont have the production capacity for the U.S Market. So far the only full alpina car ive seen sold in the states is the V8 roadster (Alpinas version of the Z8)
