Before you go out and buy one, the thing that I've noticed about Mini's is that the seat position isn't very comfortable. I'm only 5'11, and know that my torso is longer than my legs, and they still feel somewhat cramped. My driving style is probably closer than usual given that my friends of the same height sit further back, but something is screwy with the setup. I dunno, my girl said the same thing after she sold her Jeep Grand Cherokee for the Mini, and she is only 5'3 and does not have any knee issues like I do. Something to think about...maybe if you have a rental car place near your house where you can go sit in traffic with the Mini and determine if it is the right vehicle for you.
