Chevron's gas contains the most oxygen ppm (parts per million) than any other fuel, causing a leaner burn. As I've said before, half a dozen race engines met an early demise because of it. I know two guys that own cbr 900's that overheated on a highway trip the one time they filled up with it. Furthermore, the whole snowmobile community here in PG, and with the amount of snow we get here, there are a shitload of sled heads around, boycott chevron as a couple of guys have melted pistons due to it. My car pings like a whore when I run chevron 94, but she loves Esso/Exxon 92.
