What type of 325is do you plan to get? e30, e36? If you plan on rebuilding the engine to handle the power, it will cost a bit more. I have spent around 5-6k on my setup. For just the turbo part, I spent maybe 3000 or so. It really depends on what kind of boost you want to run. Life expectancy of the engine really depends on fuel management. If the engine is seeing enough fuel to match the boost, you shouldnt have a problem with engine life. Of course the life will be less just because it is high performance (true for high hp N/A engines as well). If you do it right the first time, you wont have too many problems.
