Help-need advice

Alright, after talking to some guys on the bimmerforums I have decided to most likely trade my 128i in for a 135i. I went to the dealership today and there are no 135i sticks near charleston, so I am going to have to wait. My question is-Should I trade in the 128i auto for the 135i manual which will yield a difference to 11000 for the trade in (yeah it sucks and that's with 10% depreciation only) or should I try to get a turbo kit built for the 128?

Thanks for your input. I am leaning 99% towards trading it in, but I just wanted some feedback (BTW the car that I am looking to build is Jet Black with red interior )

Go the 135i.

By the time you have the turbo kit built fitted tuned and updated all the other components to match you would have spent more than $11000

Yeah man your warranty and all that is at stake if yiou start playing funny buggers with the engine. So trade her up and go the 35i!!

Seems like the most logical option without messing up your 128.

The engine in the 128 doesn't have the same potential as the 135i engine. You'll spend thousands, and as stated, mess with the warranty, to get to the stock power levels of the 135i. Just a tune goes a LONG way on the 135i. I think it would be worth it, but that's a lot of money to spend. Make sure you're doing this because YOU want to, not because you want to please people on an internet forum.
