I can't figure out if that is light or heavy for a relatively compact car. James what are you thinking?? Pudgy or decently slim?

The Mazda 3 MPS or MazdaSpeed3 comes in at 3,093lbs. So in comparison the 135i is rather heavy. But the Mazda does not have leather and is a very minimalsit in terms of interior and options, i.e. no heated seats, no electric seats. So when you add in all the standard options the 135i isn't really to porky. The 135i is actually lighter than the standard VW R32 as seen in Australia.

5.1 hey... ECU re-map, slightly higher boost, less restrictive exhaust and intake and the BMW M-Diff you have a 4.5 second 0-62.

Anyone know if the 1-series coupe is going to come out with a diesel?

The E36 M3 weighed approximately 3200 lbs with fluids and no driver. It should be considerably faster though as E36 M3s (US models) put down approximately 220 whp while the 335s have put down 270.

Crusher is right. With 4-5k worth of modifications, it will be a very fast car.

Diesels are widely available, just not in the US.

My mum drives the 120d here in Australia but i am thinking about my next car in 4 years time when i am tired of my Mazda, and i was thinking of the 120d in the coupe.

Should have searched the web before asking. It seems Australia will miss out on the diesel. The 120d is a good little car, great performance to match the fuel efficiency.
