| Any pricing info for 1-series? Guys, I am just wondering if there is any pricing released for this 1-Series? Also, is it gonna be Higher or Lower class than the 3-series? I know, number wise it should be lower. without the price, it's hard to tell. Thanks

| I read an article in Car and Driver a while back about the new 1 series that said (if i remember correctly) that it will be cheaper. Interestingly enough BMW claims that the 135i will have a 0-60 time of 5.3 seconds....hard to believe given the majority of 335i's run 0-60 times of 4.9.... Here is the link to the article in C&D. The article in the magazine is better in my opinion. 2008 BMW 128i and 135i Coupes: Official Photos and Info - Car News - Car and Driver June 2007 |

| No official pricing has been released for the US. It will definitely fall BELOW current 3-series pricing however as this "new" model is to replace the category the 3-series used to occupy.

| There won't be any need for an M-powered 1. The 135i M Sport will do the trick just fine. Think about it. 300 (300+ in M Sport guise) twin turbo HP going to the rear wheels in a car that is shorter and lighter than an E46. This car should be able to match the E46 M3 in terms of acceleration and it will no doubt out handle the E46 M3 as well.

| ^^ ![]() the 135i will basically be draped with M division dressings... like an aerokit, steering wheel (still debated), accented interior, etc... it will be plenty quick, and will do just fine on a track... i'm really excited to see these things on the streets... although these audis are starting to look pretty nice...
