Argh... I really want to like this car; but it's been Bangle'd...

The front from the hood to the kidney grille is square (flat kidneys)... But it's got those pointy roundy headlights and the kidneys are ... well not symmetrical... square or round... pick one.

It has a beautiful (traditional BMW) straight creased shoulder line... WITH ROUNDED Z4 LINES BELOW IT ON THE SIDE SKIRTS............. PICK ONE DAMNIT!

And the back looks like a hyundai...

... ok, I'm done. I guess I'll love it when I drive one and it goes like stink. Still think the hatch would be better...

As it has been with all the more recent models, photos simply do not do it justice. Not to mention it grows on you.

Having been following the spyshots of this car for the past year, I've personally grown accustomed to its specific styling attributes. Having seen the undisguised photos and the car in person I now have zero doubt that I will be returning the E46 M3 and picking one of these bad boys up by the end of next year!

This thing really is going to drive amazing! It's BMW going back to the basics - a small, light car with a long wheelbase and an astounding motor will certainly make this a pocket rocket!

i duno, could be tight.. i actually just saw a 1 series hatch pulling into the states from the mexican border... and it was in that montego blue, and it looked SICK. i just hope the coupe looks as good as it should...
