| 1 series to the usa the us will get only the coupe and cab, not the hatch. if you remember bmw did not do very well with the 318. the us market didnt take too well to it nor the mb hatch that was out a few years ago. BUT heres a little bit of news for you, plans are that it will come with both current production inline 6's...thats right the 335's twin turbo engine WILL be in the 1 series....HOW BOUT THOSE APPLES.

So a 1-series 3L TT coupe will make it to the US? Does anyone know the projected curb weight? Having driven a Porsche Cayman recently for the first time, I was reminded how bloated BMWs have become.

It won't feel bloated. I drive a 120d at times, recently i thought it was a little heavy and sluggish but when you start giving it some stick it responds and feels really direct.

| The 120d is my only experience with the 1-series and I really enjoyed it. It's a shame we won't be getting the hatch, but I think I'll live as long as boost upgrades are available. ![]()

| WOAH, a 1 series with the TT motor, I am prepared to sign my name for a loan haha. On a series note, I would love to have one. It is time we get some boost thrown around!
