| 130i opinions Hi guys, Thinking of either getting a 335i or 130i. Looking at the pricing the 130i gets the thumbs up, considering the lighter and sportier hatch body with 190kw seems to be a good hot pocket rocket. Anyone own one and what's their opinion on these and what to watch out for? The 130i get a good review on Top Gear so I was keen to know what the real world drivers' opinion... |

| Well I'm coming off from a 370HP (+/- 260-270kw) nissan skyline and in terms of power it's a downgrade. However Mrs said I gotta "grow" with something less boy racer, and have more image. The MPS looks good but I may have to go with the bigger and slower MPS6, not MPS3. But a BMW gets the brand image. Could the 120d become heavy as the diesel (despite the torque) is not a fast revving engine. I had diesel cars in the past, yes they are very torquey and fun to launch, but after a few seconds of constant accelerating I looked down and it's only 2500rpm and 40km/h. I imagine the 130i might be different though... |
